Privacy Policy
Fit by DeLeón is built to be private by design. This page explains, in plain language, how the app handles your information.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Rodney Poncedeleon ("we") handles information in connection with the Fit by DeLeón app for iPhone. Fit is local-first: it is designed so that your fitness data stays on your device.
2. Information stored on your device
Your fitness goals, workouts, and progress are stored locally on your iPhone. At launch, Fit does not require an account and does not include cloud sync, so this information remains on your device.
3. Camera and on-device rep detection
Fit's rep detection uses your camera and runs entirely on-device. Camera frames are processed on your iPhone and are not transmitted off the device by the app.
4. Apple Health
Apple Health access is optional and permission-based. Fit only interacts with Health data if you grant permission, and you can review or change that permission in iOS Settings at any time.
5. No analytics, ads, or accounts
At launch, Fit does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or accounts. The app is free at launch.
6. Information you choose to send us
If you contact support, you may share information with us directly — for example, the contents of an email or a screenshot you attach. Please include only what you are comfortable sharing.
7. Children's privacy
Finalized language to be inserted after the privacy audit.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
9. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent to contact@fitbydeleon.com.
This document is a working template. Final, audited Privacy Policy text will replace these placeholders prior to public launch.
