Independently built, for people who train on their own terms.
FIT by DeLeón is a private fitness app for iPhone, made by one person, shaped by use rather than by a roadmap of features nobody asked for.
Built by Rodney Poncedeleon
FIT by DeLeón is designed, built, and maintained by Rodney Poncedeleon. It is an independent, founder-led project. There is no team behind it, no outside funding, and no partner whose interests sit between you and the app.
That independence is why the app can stay the way it is. Nothing in FIT needs to harvest your attention or your data to justify itself, so nothing in it does.
The idea behind it
The app is built around a simple idea: people should be able to improve their health with a polished, motivating tool that respects their attention, their data, and the different ways they define progress.
That last part matters more than it sounds. Progress is not one direction. Someone rebuilding after an injury, someone trying to gain weight, and someone chasing a longer plank are all making progress, and a fitness app should be able to hold all three without treating two of them as failures. FIT is built to measure the goal you actually set.
Privacy is the default, not a setting
FIT does not require an account, because it has nothing to sign you into. Your workouts, goals, journal entries, and weight history are stored on your iPhone. FIT does not send personal fitness data to a developer-operated server, and there are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking anywhere in the app.
Where a feature needs a sensor, it is used for that feature and nothing else. Apple Health access is optional, read-only, and entirely yours to revoke. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
Built for consistency
FIT started as a focused rep counter and grew deliberately, one considered step at a time. Today it covers five guided workouts, personalized goals with all-time stats and records, a fitness journal that holds cardio and strength work, and a Weight Journey built for gain and loss. The full list is on what FIT does, and the changes in each release are in What’s New.
What has not changed is the intent. FIT is meant to be opened, used, and closed. The goal is a habit, not a session length.
What guides the work
- Private by design. Your data is yours, kept on your device.
- Built for consistency. Quiet structure that helps you keep going.
- Honest measurement. A hold is not a rep, an empty day is not a zero you did, and a goal reached is a goal reached.
- Premium without pressure. No ads, no analytics, no upsells.
That is the foundation. Everything FIT by DeLeón becomes will be built on top of it.
